WHAT IS TSEN?
TSEN is the Third Sector European Network, and represents the Third Sector at national level. The
TSEN 2002 conference will showcase how the voluntary & community sector has been using ESF funds,
and offer insights into how changes in the administration of structural funds will affect the voluntary
& community sector. We will look at European Funding, and you will have the opportunity to contribute
to the mid-term review planned for 2003. The objectives of the conference are to make recommendations for
the review, and look at what will happen in 2006.
WHO SHOULD COME?
- Voluntary & community sector training providers
- Members of regional committees
- Government office staff responsible for ESF programmes
- Policy makers in government offices, government departments and the European Commission
- Policy makers concerned with social inclusion
WHY SHOULD YOU COME?
- You will have the opportunity to see how ESF has been used across the country, with various projects being show-cased
- You will hear from national and European agencies their vision for the use of structural funds following the mid-term review and post 2006
- You will be able to voice your views and concerns with regard to the changes in the management and administration of structural funds in England, and discuss the impact of co-financing
- You will be able to contribute to the TSEN evaluation for the mid-term review planned for 2003
- You will hear about the cross-over between Employment National Action Plan and National Action Plan on Inclusion
