European Social Fund - Revised Project Progress and Interim Claim Form

I have enclosed for your attention a revised ESF Project Progress Report and Interim Claim Form, two Expenditure and Revenue Working Sheets - a blank one for completion and a completed one as an example, together with guidance for their completion. These forms replace any other ESF Claim Forms that you may have and should be used immediately. However, we will accept the old claim forms if you are claiming for expenditure until the end of March 2003. The old claim forms will not be accepted after 30th April 2003.

You will notice the revised Interim Claim Form requests more detailed information about beneficiary outcomes and the ERWS requires a more detailed breakdown of actual expenditure. The ERWS must be completed and securely attached to each Revised Interim Claim Form in order for payment to be made to your project. These forms have been revised by ESF Division in order to meet the data requirements of the European Commission and the Internal Assurance Service of the Department of Work and Pensions.

The forms are also available electronically from your Sector Representative, the Objective 3 website - http://www.go-ne.gov.uk/corporate/europe/obj3/obj3_index.htm and this office, but they must be returned as hard copies with signatures and organisation stamps.
