The Adult Skills Pilot has announced a forthcoming call for regional tenders under Objective 2 ESF Co-Financing for the Tourism and Hospitality Sector.

The main aim of the Adult Skills Pilot is:

"To increase employer demand for skills and the responsiveness of provision to business needs. To equip more adults with the skills, competences, knowledge and understanding which employers need, now and in the future, thereby raising productivity and economic competitiveness".

The Co-Financing Application Pack and Prospectus detailing the tender specification, eligibility and process will be available from Monday 7 June 2004. The deadline for submissions of tenders under this call will be noon Monday 12 July 2004.

It is intended that the third Adult Skills Pilot Co-Financing tendering round will focus on the Engineering/Manufacturing and Transport sectors. Details of these and future calls will be made available in due course.
