How can ESFVON Help

ESFVON provides a comprehensive range of specialist services, free of charge to voluntary and community organisations, to contribute to the economic and social regeneration of the North East of England.

The services have been designed and developed in the way that suits the needs of the sector and include:

Telephone Helpline

Is a day to day service that is provided by ESFVON's staff to voluntary and community organisations. Available five days a week it covers both basic information through to detailed specific enquiries. By using this service, voluntary and community organisations are able to discuss their initial project ideas as well as seek clarification on specific issues related to up-and-running projects.

Project Development Visits

Are designed specifically for organisations which are wishing to discuss their project ideas and develop them into project applications. A visit can range from giving a general overview of the opportunities available, to detailed assistance on technical issues such as eligibility, outputs and financial aspects of a project.

Support Visits

Are undertaken to support organisations with approved projects both ESF and / or ERDF. These visits aim to ensure that organisations have effective and efficient monitoring systems in place and projects are delivered in line with European Structural Funds rules and requirements.

Seminars

Are held across the region to assist voluntary and community organisations which are looking to access European funding, or are delivering European funded projects.

Publications

Are produced to provide organisations with a comprehensive range of information in relation to European funding. They play an important part in information dissemination and ensure organisations are kept up to date with important developments.

Brokerage Services

Were developed to assist organisations in accessing the European Social Fund, following the implementation of Co-financing which is a tender driven process. The service helps to build consortia, both led by or involving voluntary organisations, to enable them to contribute to opportunities and strenghthen their participation through partnership.
