How to find us
BY CAR FROM THE A19/TEESSIDE
- From the A19 turn off at Testo's roundabout onto the A194 and follow the signs for Gateshead and Newcastle.
- Pass through Gateshead and continue into Newcastle, over the Tyne Bridge, staying on the A167 heading North towards the Airport.
- At the first roundabout you come to, there is a Safeways store on your left. Turn left here onto Two Ball Lonnen. Continue along Two Ball Lonnen, passing over a crossroads and a mini roundabout.
- At the top of Two Ball Lonnen, turn right at the roundabout onto the West Road.
- Pass Wingrove Car Showrooms and the Fox & Hounds Pub (on your right) before turning left at a 40 mph sign into the grounds of St Cuthbert's Care.
- We are in the old, large stone house. Parking is to the left and rear of the building.
BY CAR FROM THE A1 - COMING FROM THE SOUTH
- Pass the Metrocentre, go over the River Tyne and pass B & Q on your right.
- Take the exit, marked A69, Hexham and City (West) and turn right towards City (West).
- Go straight on over the first roundabout and you will begin to climb the West Road.
- Pass the Fox & Hounds pub on your left and at the next roundabout DOUBLE BACK on yourself and go back down the West Road.
- At the 40 mph sign turn left into the grounds of St Cuthbert's Care.
- We are in the old, large stone house. Parking is to the left and rear of the building.
BY CAR FROM THE A1 - COMING FROM THE NORTH
- Take the exit marked A69, Hexham and City (West) and turn left towards City (West) and following points 3 - 6 above.
BY METRO/BUS FROM NEWCASTLE CITY CENTRE
- From the Central Station take the 10B or 10D bus to the Fox & Hounds, or from the Monument Metro Station take the numbers
39, 40, to the Fox & Hounds. Go west down the West Road and follow 5 - 6 above.
