The draft ESF Regional Framework for the North East of England, setting out the proposed scope and actions under the new European Social Fund for 2007 – 2013 has just been published.

Responses to the draft ESF Framework are invited by 22 June 2007. The ESF Framework will inform the plans of the Co-financing Organisations under the new Programme and as such it is an important strategic document which will direct the opportunities which will be available.

ESFVON will be making a response on behalf of voluntary and community organisations and would welcome feedback from organisations on the proposals in the paper. Given the short timescale for consultation, it is important to take account of as many views as possible, and ESFVON would welcome your views to inform it’s response.
