Consultation and Advocacy
Representation of the interests of voluntary and community organisations in relation to European funding is a central
activity of ESFVON, incorporating representation on the Regional Committee for the ESF Programme, and the Programme
Executive Group for the ERDF Programme.
To contribute to effective representation, research and consultation is undertaken on key issues to seek to ensure that
the views of the sector are taken into account in the planning and management processes for the administration of the
European Structural Funds.
ESFVON is also a member of the Third Sector European Network (TSEN) and as such contributes to national consultation and
representation of the sector on European issues.
