CURRENT CO-FINANCING OPPORTUNITY
IN THE NORTH EAST

The following invitation to tender has been published by the Learning and
Skills Council under the remit of the Adult Skills Pilot in The North East.
Co-financing is being made available under Objective 2 to support Tourism and
Culture across the region.
Supported Activity: The specific activity to be supported will: either,
deliver tourism and hospitality sector skills with a qualification at NVQ
level 3 or equivalent; or, provide a clear progression route for individuals
capable of attaining level 4 qualifications with particular emphasis on
management and leadership specific to the tourism and hospitality sector.
Target Group: anyone working in the North East Tourism/Hospitality Sector.
This includes - pubs, bars, hotels, visitor attractions, tourism, youth
hostels, restaurants, travel services, etc.
Project Size: bids smaller than £50,000 will not normally be considered.
A total resource of £2,123,427 is available to be distributed across
Tourism/hospitality and Digital (another Adult Skills initiative targeting
digital sector companies).
