Donald Dempsey O.B.E
Director
"For many voluntary and community organisations, the
thought of applying for European Funding is a daunting task -
but hundreds of projects in the North East of England benefit
from this source of funding. More importantly, they help tens
of thousands of people to enhance their training and employment
prospects, and to contribute to the regeneration of their
communities.
The specialist support which ESFVON provides free of charge for
these organisations include a telephone help-line, regular
information updates, individual consultations, assistance with
project development, seminars, and support visits to ensure the
effective management and operation of projects.
If you want to explore whether your project ideas may be
eligible for European Funding, we will be pleased to help
you."
ESFVON, is the North East of England's specialist regional

advice on other Objectives, including 2, and the former Objectives 4
and 5b, and Community Initiatives.

It is with great sadness that ESFVON announces the untimely death of Carole on 13th September 2007.
Carole's contribution to ESFVON since joining at the formative stages in 1991 was unsurpassable and her commitment undiminished.
Known to hundreds of organisations and individuals, she was the first point of contact for many, and her
friendliness and understanding was widely acknowledged by all who knew her.
The mainstay in managing ESFVON's office, she guided and supported all staff - and was outstanding in her
organisation of the countless events promoted during the past 16 years.
Her humour, commitment and contribution will be sorley missed.

ESFVON acknowledges the support received from the European Regional Development
